HTC Inspire 4G: Close Running Applications

In this article, you will be finding out how to close the applications that are running in the background. Applications that run in the background are decreasing your battery so you should close these applications to increase the battery life for the HTC Inspire. Please follow the steps below.
  • Switch on your HTC Inspire 4G.
  • Press the Menu button from the home screen.
  • Touch Settings and then select Applications.
  • Slide down and tap Applications.
  • Tap Manage applications and then tap the Running tab.
  • Select the applications that you would like to close and tap Force stop.
