Samsung Galaxy S2: Turn the phone ON/OFF

If you recently purchased your Samsung Galaxy S2 and you have no idea how to turn on the phone and how to turn off the phone then this is the right article for you. In this article I will be showing you how to turn on or off the phone. Please follow the simple steps below to learn how.
  • If you would like to turn on the phone, please press and hold the power button.
  • If you would like to turn off the phone, please and hold the power button, select Power off and then OK.

    The problem is that no menu appears with the option to choose turn off.. it simply turns itself off...
    a serious issue since it can randomly turn itself off if the power button is pressed by accident... even for a split second...
